the b&w "shush cut" of Hush is fucking phenomenal. The removal of color, as well as the removal of the score and reworking of the sound design pulls you so much deeper into the story and the palpable tension. This is my favorite version of the film and the one I will now always recommend to everyone

Violent Night is so unserious and just riotous, absurd, and violent fun. it is unironically one of my favorite Christmas films that will be in the yearly rotation for many years to come.
