The only thing that could draw me back here
Tomorrow evening it’ll be my annual duty to vaguely shepherd the activity on the #duvetknowitschristmas hashtag and urge people to give small sums to charity. 7.30pm? Something like that?

As if the news that #dogs have been trained to sniff out #platypus burrows whilst riding paddle-boards wasn't good enough, @firstdogonthemoon.bsky.social has done a cartoon about it 😍

Would anyone in NW3, or thereabouts, like a free sofa? I love this sofa a great deal but it's just too large for our flat so we're getting a smaller one. I cannot emotionally accept the idea of it going to landfill.

Lying in bed with a current waft of paint fumes in my nose, playing a game of "is it a real smell, coming through the wall from a neighbour, or a phantom long covid smell?"

I have long covid and phantom smells come as part of my symptoms package. Cig smoke is one of them, pet food being another that I get more often. It's... interesting.

And just like that, I've had my final appointment with the Long Covid service as it doesn't look like they've been given funding to continue running. They've done a truly amazing job helping me get my life and my health back together during the last couple of years and will be sorely missed.
