A friend at work double dog dared me to write a “trashy romance novel” set in our town. As this is supposed to be trashy there’s no pressure for it to be perfect, yet I think I somehow wrote the best chapter transition I have ever written in my lifetime.

"Oh look, a STAWBRREY!"

Newest sticker design. Just a fat/fluffy cardinal sitting on a branch, contemplating how he managed to survive this winter. I think he’s my new spirit animal.

I managed to complete a design within a weekend! This is The Flatwoods Monster, dressed as a 50s housewife holding her prized gelatin 'salad' tower. Braxie was first spotted in 1952 and I wanted to pay some homage to the style of the time period. My plan is to make these into 3-4" stickers.

Trying my hand at making stickers, and I’m starting to realize that I’m free falling down a brand new rabbit hole.

Newest painting finished. Very whimsical piece compared to my past works. Fairy Dragon holding a strawberry.

After nearly 5 years’ long sabbatical, I am finally dipping my hesitant toe back into the rushing cold waters of the Arts & Crafts show circuit.

I need to fire my studio assistant. She’s not very good at increasing productivity, but she’s great for morale.
