It was mismanagement plain and simple. Hoffa Jr was complicit for sure. O’Brien sacrificed yellow at the altar to get better contracts for UPS and ABF. Even if he hadn’t the company wasn’t salvageable by then. Any further concessions would have destroyed the union.

Yellow fright drivers did that to themselves. They voted for the concessions that gutted their pension contributions and wages. Anyone left there in the last year was delusional, it was the worst run company i have ever seen after working at their terminals coast to coast.

He talked tough, looked like an old school teamster. I happily voted for the scab, and watched in horror as the prick got on his knees for trump. It was a complete 180° that gave everyone watching whiplash.

While he is undeniably a douche bag, It is less than helpful when a president visits the site of a disaster. Performative empathy does nothing to help a crisis situation and the added security harms recovery efforts.

I wouldn’t hold my breath. I think it would probably take videos of mass graves at the new Gitmo illegal immigrant holding facility. Even then we would just hear about how it was commie fake news.

It’s already been sky rocketing. I run a small artisan coffee roasting business selling on etsy. When I saw trump had won I suspended operations.
I was due to reorder green beans and my normal supplier’s prices had already more than doubled. I couldn’t pass that on to my customers.

Sadly so many of those very people voted for this. My own parents, both disabled and on medicare voted for this.
