Half hour ago I finished a writing project that began six years ago. The main reason that it took a while was the period that inspired it - leaving the EU and the pendemic. Trial and error also played a part. Edits await but its finally done.

Bought this out of curiosity. Wouldn't say its a gateway to jazz but I'm impressed with the reareangements of those classics. Well worth a listen.

This just dropped on the door mat; been keeping my eye on this on eBay for a while and found a copy for a reasonable price - some of the asking prices are baffling, but I finally have it in my collection.

Not done this for a very long time. Currently have four notebooks full of writing and been wanting to type out the poems. Not giving time to every one, there's quite a bit that's just going to stay on the page in my own font.

Nearing 70,000 words of my novel, I'm happy. Might not get that from this moody selfie, but I'm closer to finishing something that I planned during lockdown. Just took time to get it right, but I did write a novella during that period that I intend to go back to.
