TLDR: Bluesky is, right now, a relatively safe and usable place for trans people. Jesse Singal is on this site with the goal of changing that, as I interpret his own words. The Bluesky staff, by saying they won't take action unless he breaks a specific rule, are saying they're just fine with that.

some thoughts on the Singal situation, as it seems to be moving towards "nobody says anything and he stays on the platform":
I think this is a mistake, and I think it risks losing much of what made bluesky special and taking away one of the few safe-ish spaces trans people have left on the internet
