This time last year I was on life support. I don’t remember anything, I have no idea how I even got to the hospital. I have a DNR and they didn’t obey my wishes. I’m not grateful to them for saving my life. Most days I just wish they would have honored my DNR. #DNR

I’m on my way to Louisville to have a surgery that I have been dreading for months. This is a serious surgery and I am a nervous wreck. I don’t want to do this but I have to sooner or later. #chronicillness

I’m at the hospital waiting to have an endoscopy. My last one didn’t go good so I have to have another one. I won’t lie, I enjoy the anesthesia so I can sleep. Everything else about it sucks. #chronicillness

I got a call from the surgeon in Louisville. I am having surgery at the end of October. It is going to ruin my Halloween. 😢 This is a major surgery. The doctor told me that I will be in the hospital for a few days after the surgery. The doctor is supposed to be the best in Kentucky at this issue.

This was the happiest moment of my day yesterday. This baby bear was in the road then he came to my side of the car! He was right by my window, I could have reached out and pet him. He was so adorable. 🐻 #bear #smokymountains

Today is my Rottweiler’s Artie 7th birthday. I can’t believe that my baby is already 7 years old. I got her when she was only four months old. She had my heart the second that I saw her. Artie is perfect. She deserves the world. I hope that I am giving it to her.

Do you know why some women have big dogs, the “bully breeds?” It is because at some point in their life they didn’t feel safe or someone harmed them. I have a Rottweiler, a German Shepherd, and an American Bully. If anyone tries to harm me, it will be the last thing they ever do. #rottweiler #safe
