Book #31 for 2025. Didn’t know much about Billy Childish before reading this. Feel like his music will be a bit of a rabbit hole for me

Book #28 for 2025 was 501 Essential Albums of the 90s, edited by Gary Graff. Didn't take a photo because reasons. I owed/have listened to a whole bunch of the 501 Essential Albums. Not sure what that says about me, other than that I really love music from the 90s

Book #27 for 2025. Completing the @spinal-bap.bsky.social double for the year. I wasn’t super familiar with Uncle Maccas 90s output, I’ll definitely be tucking into some

Book #26 for 2025. Loved these guys in my teens, and despite the set list of their reunion shows, their later albums have some absolute gems. Enjoyed this

Spent this afternoon with a younger, skinnier version of myself. Finally getting around to digitising a bunch of live footage of my old band Vocoder from about 26 years ago. Stunned at how young we all look!

Because I apparently can’t count, this will ow be known as Book #24 for 2025. A rollicking good read, took a punt and was rewarded well and truely. Possibly my favourite book of the year so far

Liverpool were a bit shaky, that’s to be expected for the first proper game of the season. Happy with the win all the same.

First Liverpool game of the season tomorrow morning. Quite excited. Mind you, I'll likely be out running while the game is on, so might need to avoid spoilers.

Listening to the Situations has soothed my slightly frazzled brain. Do check them out if you don't know their music, they're a fine band made up of even better people thesituations.bandcamp.com

Book #21 for 2025. An annual re-read and reminder that heavy music rules in its many different forms. And I was introduced to the wonderful music of Heldon, which is a massive win. Top stuff @spinal-bap.bsky.social

Book #20 for 2025. Sometimes horrible people make the best characters and the lead character of this is full horrible. Fantastic book

I'm watching a replay of the Belgian Grand Prix and I have a genuine question. Why do they bother making wet weather tyres if they aren't going to use them? Seriously, aren't these meant to be the best drivers in the world?

Book #19 for 2025. Reminding myself of what I enjoyed about playing in bands. Well recommend
