Last week, I had a wonderful time at EWOC 2025! I met many incredible women, heard amazing scientific talks, and participated in the career panel. Two organic chemists in our lab, Carmen and Marla, gave poster presentations and built great connections. Great job, Abbvie!

Thrilled to introduce the hashtag#MorganLabatND 2025 Summer Crew, our new lab logo, and our new lab name! We are the STAR^2 lab (Selective Targeting Approaches for RNA and RNA-binding proteins).

The #MorganLabatND has been celebrating the graduation of our third undergraduate, Matt Barnes. Matt worked with Carmen and developed a novel code to predict covalent reactivity. This Fall, Matt will be joining University of Louisville to earn his MD/PhD! 🎉🍾🥳

Huge Congratulations to #MorganLabatND graduate student, Marla Gravino, for recieving the NSF GRFP!! 🎉 For her fellowship, she will work toward understanding the reactivity of nucleobases, nucleotides, and RNAs with covalent chemistry. We are incredibly proud!
