Apparently my new dishwasher is too quiet. Didn't realize this was a thing, but apparently it is and its silence makes it untrustworthy according to my wife. "The robot vacuum makes an annoyed sound when you turn it on; I don't trust how the new dishwasher doesn't complain about doing chores."

One of the great tragedies in all of this is I had insomnia last night so I got to follow this whole thing "live" and I was really looking forward to getting to go "Morning dear, I have some good news for you" when my wife woke up. Really wanted this for her, and I'm now mad she's been denied this.
