The Long Wing https://wp.me/pXFNo-FO is such an awkward, amazing and in many ways, prehistoric aircraft still contributing. Pretty darn cool! @BedfordCamera @NikonUSA #NikonAmbassador
The Long Wing
RB-57F "Long Wing" captured by D4s / 80-400VR We would often see them at the end of the ramp at Ellington Field. NASA flies them out of there on missions, taking this very unique aircraft from the 60's to 60,000 feet! There were three airworthy until just recently, when one had a wheels-up issue on landing. Designed for strategic reconnaissance, they now serve a very important role in weather reconnaissance mostly.

Where You Been? https://wp.me/p6YJx-iPV we're in our favorite locale quite often, Yellowstone, and it seems at times that critters actually remember us. Though, that's impossible. Right? @BedfordCamera @NikonUSA #NikonAmbassador #NikonPro

P-51D "Long Island Kid" captured by D4 / 80-400VR We were out on the Osh grounds before the sun was even a hint. Jake, Brent & I were simply taking in all the aircraft with a focus on our work with Texas Flying Legends. The "Kid" was kinda all by itself, no aircraft in the background and thankfully, none blocking the growing glow to the east.

Good Time for a Rest Stop https://wp.me/p6YJx-iNR as there are few to none place to pullover when the highway is covered in snow. It was spectacular drive for sure! @BedfordCamera @NikonUSA #NikonAmbassador
Good Time for a Rest Stop
Lookout Pass captured by Z 9 / Z270-200f2.8 Each bend in the road opened up a new view, each view more spectacular than the last. The clouds were smothering the mountains, the mountains pushing back, producing a wet, sticky snow. The light came and went with the clouds, painting the landscape with highlights and shadows. All I could do was drive slowly and scan every inch of the road for a place to pull over and indulge my need to make an image.
