My boyfriend won’t allow me to listen to Taylor when I’m quilting because he doesn’t understand that when Taylor drops an album everything becomes a microphone, and apparently it’s “unsafe” and “an accident waiting to happen.” 🙄

My nephew’s favorite team was the Kansas City Chief’s. He was SO excited when I made him this jacket so he could support his team - even at church. I wanted to make a few bags; and decided to use the leftover fabric from the jacket to make the first one.

I’m sorry to have been so quiet lately, my nephew was very sick. He passed last week, and I am slowly picking up the pieces and will begin posting about sewing and school again soon.

Quilt #3: I started this quilt in 2020 after watching a Donna Jordan video where she used the pattern. I was one 5” square short of finishing it at the time - this year I got around to purchasing fabric and finishing the quilt!
