Because Anesthesiologists have $6B in profit and have had their earning power adjusted for inflation! Oh wait...
A big insurer backed off its plan to pay less for anesthesia. That’s bad.

My take: www.reddit.com/r/Healthcare...

If Walgreens Sells To Private Equity, Deal May Join Others Under Fire
If Walgreens Boots Alliance follows through with a sale to private equity, the company might join other healthcare deals under scrutiny for selling out to such investors.

Because adding Board members REALLY helps the CVS rank and file - forget Aetna bleeding out because of bad population care, or pharmacists needing to unionize to fight "the man" for better working conditions. Adding Hedge Fund managers to the Board is the trick!

AI training logic - if the data is public it is ours to use, but use the AI you need to pay.

The FTC needs to go after this playbook - Data should be considered a public good and regulated. Gating data = bad for competition.

I guess they don't like it when the government does arbitration. Check ANY TOS to us "folks" and somehow the arbitration clauses come into play, must be nice to have big lawyers arguing about "due process" when the case is about LITERAL PRICE GAUGING OF US CITZENS.
CVS, UnitedHealth, Cigna sue to block FTC case over insulin prices
The complaint is the latest move in a bitter legal fight between the U.S.'s three largest so-called pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs, and the FTC.
