I did a thing!
It's scuffed but that's ok. I'm still new to art and I ended up re-drawing a few things when I went to rig them.

Things are coming along nicely! I changed his hair and I gave him a hat! I also decided on a color palette.

She's done!

Meet my #OC! He's meant to be a mage, he has magic tattoos around his body.
I haven't learned colouring / rendering yet but I've already drawn each part in its own layer. This is the character I'm gonna try turn into my #vtuber model!

Now I'm up to date with my current project. This time I'm not trying to replicate a reference. I chose a photograph of a pose and I tried drawing Yor in that pose. I'm very happy with this and I plan to add colour and a background at some point.

I wanted to try another facial angle and I also wanted to draw a male character so I chose this image of Yuji.

I got annoyed by eraser shavings so I dug out an old tablet I still had from when I played Osu and I drew this Marin portrait. I'm very happy with how this turned out. I also discovered I actually prefer drawing with a tablet.

Then I practiced heads a bunch and tried to draw Yuta from JJK.

I decided a month ago I was gonna teach myself how to draw, I've done some technical drawing in the past but I never tried getting creative or drawing characters. This was my first attempt, I'm still pretty happy with it!
