Got excited bc i got a notif for a 50cM match on myheritage but the largest segment is only 8cM, they don’t match with my dad & have a completely diff background from my mom sooo seems a little fishy idk #genealogy

Had such a huge #genealogy break through last night! I got a hint on family search for my grandma’s oldest (half) aunt that I had very little information on. This led me to finding her husband and 7 new first cousins of my grandma! The oldest was born 53 before her 😭 #familyhistory

Came across another mess made by someone on family search Omg 🤦 made someone’s aunt and uncle their parents because they had a first cousin with a similar name / birthday. Looks like there might be some more issues but i messaged them and trying to work some of it out #familyhistory #genealogy

Omg had such a #genealogy break through moment last night. I was randomly looking at some branch of my grandma’s family which led me to some hints and then records research. I started to see some really familiar names and as I reviewed them, I realized I accidentally made the- #familyhistory
