been seeing lots of "no game is even worth $70" posts and that's just such a sad way to look at the joy and value you get from a video game. I'd argue we get WAY more enjoyment out of games per dollar than any other form of media. it's not even close imo.

I am so excited to finally play south of midnight but there being no physical bums me out.

1st party titles in the UK on ps5 and Xbox have been £70 on launch for several years now.

First year in a long time January has been good to me. Historically it's been a pretty terrible month, if something bad is gonna happen to me or around me, it's in January. So, maybe this is they year I finally catch a break 💕

Fun is key. I don't care if your graphics are a little janky, there are bugs and glitches, or whether your game is realistic. Fun will always be priority, my favourite games and the ones that will stick with me for life are ones that made me smile from start to finish.

Every time I see a Kickstarter for a board game, it's boasting 27,000 pieces, eighteen character boards, a rulebook big enough to use War and Peace as a bookmark, and required playing space of a football field... and nowhere do they promise it comes with someone who'll actually play the damn thing.
