I've been aiming to run about 5 miles in the morning. There's a really nice route I can run that's about exactly that long. There's another route I can run that's half the length but pure suburbs. Because 2 miles or so into the run, my guts rebel every day, Ive had to double up the neighborhood path

For sure! I do very much appreciate it over exactingly extracting the ums. I think I'm mostly getting g hung up on it because this was my first recording in a while and trying to be looser editing than I have been in the past to avoid burnout is tough

I pause a lot to try to avoid ahing and umming excessively, but it can also seriously cut up short thoughts or sentences multiple times in ways that are hard to edit together coherently. I think being thoughtful is important, but sometimes I need to get the whole thought collected before I speak

And Johnson has fun with the camera, which I have to appreciate. Playing with color and depth of field and whatnot. Nothing revolutionary in the story or the cinematography, and I have some qualms with it, but yeah

Yeah. I saw it in theaters and it was a nice time and rewatched it today because we missed the first like 90 seconds of the film when we saw it. Solidly better than the second one, and concerned with trying to articulate something about faith and faithlessness and whatnot.

Reading some stuff and getting both excited and sad as I do it. Certainly being less critical in some ways (in a formal or rigorous sense) which I dont wholly love. I also miss thinking about and reading and playing games more (not including making because a game I co-developed did just release)
