Jingle Squad began life as a novel in 2016. Since then I've refined & reworked it as comic issues, graphic novels, film scrips, re-novelised it & finally back as a Graphic Novel. To call it a labour of love would be an understatement - & now seeing it come to life... well, that's something else.

Bit of a real world share - despite still having some originals and all the IDW reprints, I still couldn't resist 😀.

My writing process is ever evolving the more time I spend in this comic work - 4yrs ago when I wrote my first comic page I viewed it as a bit of a solo sport - how wrong I was. 4yrs later and well into my second book I am fully embracing the team aspect of bringing a story to life, script to page.

This whole 'comic-writing' thing is relatively new to me, but already my favourite part is seeing the art come to life, going from sketch to final image. Of course it helps when you have folks like @rorydraws4.bsky.social, @robjoneswrites.bsky.social & @andylanning.bsky.social bringing it to life.
