Why do I have keep proving myself and my skills to people who don’t believe in what I can do? 😤😡

As of today, I’ve been unemployed for 6 months. This is the worse job market I’ve seen. I’m wondering if I ever get hired again. 😭😡😤

If it wasn’t for bad luck, I wouldn’t have luck at all. No one is trying to hire me.

Being in the animation industry right now looking for a job is one of the WORST industries to be in. They (studios, cookie-cutter schools and bootcamps and AI) are killing the animation industry rn. Choose another line of work.

I’m glad I didn’t get rid of my Bluesky account. Threads is a mess right now. I’m only there for the news and artsy/creative info. And I made a few friends on there.

I’m done with Threads for now. So much misinformation, misguided and unnecessary commentary, the bots, scammers and the lying. And on top on top the major news orgs failure to report accurate and on time news to the people snd falling to trumps fascism. Threads WAS a cool place. Now it Twitter 2.0.

Month 5. I’m still unemployed. No one is hiring or hiring me. 😡😭

Of all my motion art pieces on my Behance account, ppl liked my 2 pieces I created in Blender. And they were just character animation. They seem to disregard or hate the other stuff I did from JibJab and my re-edits. Conclusion: JibJab is dead. 💀🪦

I’m starting to give up looking for a job. Being unemployed is hard enough. But getting so many rejection letters and scam emails has crossed the line! It has never been this hard to get an interview! I was told today that my portfolio didn’t fit the vibe of the company. What the fuck???!!!
