Games from the club on Monday. Had great game of the Old World, the snotlings tied up the skeletons for ages!
A few shots from this weeks club night. We had 40K, The Old World and Dropfleet Commander.
PS we also do historical but it was firmly sci-fi and fantasy this week!

That’s red, yellow, white and first green highlights done. The lines around the forage caps are not the best but they’ll look alright en masse

Got a game of The Old World in on Monday and then introduced to Pillage last night (although no pictures from last night so some from the week before when my mate ran it then)

Always a slightly nervy experience, removing the horizontal slot on original slotta bases inc some 1984s…
Slight stress mark on one but seems okay. All a very snug fit so no glue needed. Will use cereal bar wrappers cut up to cover the gaps

That is all the corrections done. Didn’t have enough time to get the washes done as well.

Probably more mistakes in the basecoat than there are non-mistakes. More changes in how my hand feels, so I’ll take it especially when that’s 2 battalions with base coats in seven days. Corrections (lots) next and washes.

Nice note from Perry along with the missing parts from the wagon. Their customer service has been excellent 👍

My plan was to paint something else next, perhaps goblins and ogres, but decided I’ll try and get the final two battalions done and dusted. So assembly started at the weekend. One more sprue on order so I can complete these.

When you don’t have full feeling in your fingertips on your dominant hand adding ropes to the limbers was an ordeal (say 4-5 hours!!). They’re not great but pass the 2 foot rule

Main colour on the bases. Need to do the highlights on horses legs now, I’d left to cover up any mess from the basing 😉
Also some Bad Squiddo scenics and a Warbases wagon load that I’ve been meaning to do for ages

The mixed wash I’ve been using for the Russians on almost 200 figures suddenly decided to dry glossy on these two casualties. Hopefully a shake will sort it out. But going to need to do the highlights on these by guesswork 😬

Started basing up. Still need to do buttons but will do that after base has a coat of paint. Will leave the horses to dry overnight before adding sand, can’t afford an accident there!

Smashed out first 6 highlights in an hour and half. Happy with that. 8 more to go but one of those is the white and second green highlight which will take a little longer
