When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

I joined Bluesky to watch my son show his art and to watch him redefine autism for people. Turns out his best qualities here are that he is a huge defender of marginalized people and will fight for what he thinks is right even when no one responds. @theautisticart.bsky.social I am so proud of you.

I am proud of this Tiktok video, which was the last one I ever did.
It took SEVERAL combined hours, several sore muscles, and a lot of water to get the dance just right.
I am no professional dancer, but I have wanted to do this ever since I saw the Wicked last year. Now, I am Dancing Through Life.

Let me tell you, director Leigh Whannell REALLY made things work with Wolf Man!
This was an interesting and different take on familiar werewolf mythos. It was an unsettling, intense, and even tragic story about a father slowly transforming into his worst nightmare.

I recognize the importance of kindness, empathy, and love for my fellow man.
So whenever I come across a so-called "Christian" preaching hate, I know they are NOT a real follower of God.
