Ofcom's new proposed measures will not address the current levels of harm or major new suicide and self-harm threats.

It's time for the Prime Minister to intervene and introduce a strengthened Online Safety Act that can tackle preventable harm head on.

I am dismayed to say that the regulator’s timid approach announced yesterday has left me more disappointed than ever.

We now need leadership to comprehensively tackle the preventable harm children will continue to face online.

Yesterday the Technology Secretary said he was ready to act decisively ‘where new threats emerge’.
