Mole-rats are go! More super powers😃
Looking forward to some exciting results in the year to come as we unravel more secrets about naked mole-rat biology - collaborative science is the way to go 😃

A few comments about our work on tau in naked mole rats with @psalmotoxin.bsky.social @moleratsarego.bsky.social and how we hope it will bring us closer to new dementia treatments. Part of #aruk christmas campaign #neuroskyence #alzsky #dementia

Always exciting to see our local (North London) urban Kingfisher today on a favourite perch, blending in with the graffiti!😃 Often possible see 10-15 bird species on a 20 minute walk with the dog along the New River.

Rather late to the party with today's #TerribleLizards, but here's the new episode which is all about the new pterosaur Skiphosoura and what it tells us about pterosaur #evolution. terriblelizards.libsyn.com/tls10e11-ski...
Terrible Lizards: TLS10E11 Skiphosoura - the pterosaur of the gaps
Skiphosoura – the pterosaur of the gaps So last week Dave had a new paper out and this time it’s a new pterosaur, named Skiphosoura bavarica (the sword tail of Bavaria) and it is both really interesti...

I must agree with this post, I'm now listening to this podcast for the second time and perhaps surprisingly there is some very cool science discussed in it too. I have bought three books off the back of it! Currently reading the excellent "Losing Eden" by Lucy Jones (discussed in Episode 2).

Moving from "Twatter" over to here now, it will take time to build up followers again. I haven't posted for ages there as it just got so awful! In an attempt to kickstart things again, here is not a newly emerged alien, but a recently new born naked mole-rat (with another in the background)!😃

Thrilled to share this paper to which I contributed as a 2nd author! 🎉
