This sculpture is in the central mall in front of Trenchard Hall and also is close to Queens Hall, my dorm when I was a student at UI. It's a gift by an Alumnus whose name I don't remember, to commemorate the University's 60th anniversary. The donor is to be commended! January 25, 2015.

I recommend "The Secret Agent"- it is somewhat slow to develop but it provides the sense of how an authoritarian kakistocracy in 1977 Brazil robs society of money, incentive, and lives. We are at a fork in the road towards that here, folks.

Is it just the sweetest dream?

Dare I hope it happen very soon?
