Facebook and Twitter endlessly pushing adds for dropshop companies selling cheap tat from China but posing as a long-established beloved UK retailer closing down "with a heavy heart" usually because of some family reason. Taking money for this kind of scam is a disgrace

Interesting to note that I flagged on Twitter the @picturesporting.bsky.social account I run. Posts to that Historic Cricket Pictures feed on Twitter (56K followers) usually get between 3k and 50k views. The post including the link to Bluesky has had 400. Are they blocking mentions of Bluesky?

I went with my wife to the first day of the Perth Test a year ago and saw two wickets (admittedly had to leave a little early). We've already had 17 today ... looks like I was 12 months early #ausvind

It is possible for one person to have too much money. Not to mention an ability to spout utter nonsense. Fewer and fewer of these obscenely rich men seem to want to actually do good with their fortunes

It's posts like this that highlight what a toxic environment Twitter has become. I guess when you are there every day the abuse almost becomes wallpaper
