Why is there a Department of Players Safety? So fed up with the constant screw ups by the refs and off ice officials.
It’s one thing when a cheating ref calls or lets go minor hooks etc. We’re talking injuries and careers here. Terrible!

This is my thought.
I’ll start by saying it should not have come down to that call. However, there should have been more discussion around whether it was too late to call it a goal and or whether Laine should be allowed to shoot again like an off side call. The clock gets reset.
