Saw someone post this a little while back and I was intrigued by the cover and the synopsis. This may have to bumped up my TBR list.

New Arrival. Sadly not the spredged version but a first edition nonetheless.

This book was an absolute delight. I’m new to the ‘Flintlock’ fantasy genre, and now hooked. Grave Empire has it all: forbidden magic, sea creatures and armoured sharks, gore and shock and horror, humour, great world-building and character development. Newest arrival. This is the American edition. So much prettier than the UK one. Looking forward to this one.
