I wonder if anyone has pointed out to the Republicans that terrorizing citizens, revoking their rights, refusing them healthcare, and starving them is unlikely to produce a positive outcome in the 2016 elections.

I can't help but wonder about the process of packing up of the East Wing's contents, how the inventory was compiled, and where it is stored. That would have been a massive operation, taking weeks and many (paid?) employees.

Why I am not attending my cities' NO KINGS march:
I am 72 years old.
I am extremely uncomfortable with what we can reasonably assume the government surveillance will be. I am a widow of a federal employee not always popular with Republicans.
Not into tear gas since the 70's.
NO KINGS!

Y'all, on the eve of my 72nd birthday, I got reported for a comment I made saying that the current administration has shown us who they are, and we need to show them who we are in the 2026 election cycle in order to prosecute every one of them for violating the Constitution. Best birthday gift ever.

To the person who recommended "Everything's Going to be Okay," thank you so much. It gives all the feels, and I am delighted to be watching it. Everyone who can should rush to Disney/Hulu and watch it. TW first episode has death due to pancreatic cancer, but no death scene.

I realized tonight that, at 71 years old, that I will have to live for twenty more years to read the books written about this insanity to be written. I am already a skeptical old woman, but I truly hope for an uprising that not only impeaches but sentences Trump to prison for life.

Fellow pretty smart peeps, I have cancelled my subscription to WaPo and now just have NYT which I find unsatisfying as well as highly sus. What papers of record do you subscribe to? I'm looking for a newspaper that does in depth reporting as well as good book reviews. Thx, fellow smarts!
