NEWS: #UAlbany announced Monday its intent to purchase Centennial Hall, a residence hall on the former College of Saint Rose campus.

The three-story property would be used for upperclassman and graduate housing.

Despite not being paid during the government shutdown, NOAA's Hurricane Hunter team flew directly into Melissa’s 185-mile-per-hour winds this week.

A recent @albany.edu study found that data from these missions significantly improves hurricane forecasts. ✈️

Adirondack Explorer's Zach Matson met us at Black Pond this summer to spend the day w/ a team of #UAlbany researchers who are collecting & analyzing lake mud in the ADKs.

A new study led by @UAlbany grad researcher Sky Hooler has found Adirondack waters made a 90% recovery from metal pollution since the enactment of the Clean Air Act.
