This week I celebrate 4 years since I started my watercolor journey. Much like 2021 I am worried, saddened and angry about the state of our country. My intention everytime I paint is to remind me of how to find beauty in the chaos. I hope you take time to find your joy even in the craziness.

I also wonder about the 200,000 documents withheld "in order to protect the victims" when the victims have come out & claimed what has been released violates their privacy. It doesn't add up.

The killing happened about 15 hours ago. Since then:
- MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (FBI equivalent) got a warrant for the evidence on the scene
- Tried to execute it
- Were forcibly turned away by feds
- Filed for a temporary restraining order
- TRO granted by the federal district court

ICE killing #AlexPretti should remind you of police killing #PhilandoCastille. Both men had concealed weapon permits, did not draw their guns, & were killed in Minn. These homicides are the price of unaccountable policing. These deaths are variations on the same fatal theme.
