Suppose tRump goes away, we still have to deal with the millions who voted for him, we still have to deal with institutions that caved into him, and that we have a political system in which a person like him can gain control of the legislature, the Supreme Court, and the executive branch.

Trump operates a domestic force that imprisons people without due process, has brought important institutions (universities, law firms, media firms, etc.) to their knees , and has rendered political institutions subservient to his will . These are stunning achievements and damned frightening!!!

Doesn't the current political situation constitute a soft coup d' etat? Two men now control most of the most powerful levers of government and seemingly cannot be held accountable.
