We just attended the first night of the new years concerts by the BerlinPhil Orchestra tonight. Brahms Piano Concerto #2 performed by #DanilTrifonov followed by some Wagner and Strauß pieces. A concert to remember for a long time. #KirilPetrenko smiling all through the show. Beautiful!

A little Sondheim can’t ever be a bad thing. We are at Komische Oper Berlin for their new Kosky production. This should be a great evening.

Excited to get to see La fille du Regiment today at the Bayerische Staatsoper today. Given the reviews and comments I have seen, this should be quite something. It’s my 4th production of this Opera after Zurich, London and Chicago (though I think London and Chicago could have been a co production)
