What a fantastic game from @cityofgameshq.bsky.social Just finished my first playthrough of Emberleaf. Simple rules and still very strategic. If you don’t think ahead your slide action will be more than frustrating. One card in the wrong place can mess things up.

Yesterday this beauty hit the table again. @kinsonkeygames.bsky.social masterpiece Galactic Cruise. There is a lot going on, but it‘s so easy to teach. Only one action we always miss/forget. After calling a meeting, we forget to take one action. Not sure if it is just us, but this always happens 😄

Today another Nuceleum session awaits. Playing with the Australia Expansion. In my opinion the best way to play this game. Court Of Progress adds a bit more to play around with, but for other players around the table it was just a bit too much. And I get their point. So keeping it "simple" today.

These little expanions for Ahoy from @leder.games just arrived. Luckily tomorrow will be the next games night. Will try to learn the additional rules and try to get it on the table. Very happy about this whole package 🤓

Galactic Cruise, my most anticipated game for quite a while now. Can‘t wait to get this one on the table. Will get into punching some boards and sleeving cards and packing everything in the big box. It all looks and feels like a really high quality game. Great job @kinsonkeygames.bsky.social

Castles Of Burgubdy finally made it to the table. Completely understand why so many people love this game. Instantly added the vineyard expansion and it just worked smoothly and added a nice additional layer to the game. This game is a keeper for sure.

Sometimes you just need those easy to medium games, that don’t take 2-4 hours to finish. After playing Rebirth I decided to get two more Reiner Knizia games. MLEM and Cascadero. Cascadero is similar to Rebirth, but without the randomness of the tile drawing. Looking forward to playing both of them.

Another Andromeda‘s Edge session done. This time using the Nethervoid. This really changed the game in a general positive way. It felt more balanced and everyone was forced to battle more often than usual.

This game was a little surprise to me. Had it on my radar for a while and always thought, no seems a bit too simple and repetitive. But I was so wrong. It is the perfect game if you want to play a 45-60min. game, where you teach the game within 5 minutes. And 🖤 re-wood. @mightyboards.bsky.social

Need to play this game more often again. It is just so awesome to plan and strategize, especially knowing if you can manage to achieve the things you plan. The minimum luck factor is just great. Working together to beat the Voidborn and lower the points you need to beat. My favorite 4X game.

The Blighted Reach…a wild space opera, where everything can happen and chaos rules in almost each round. Fate A (Founder) was doomed from the start. Fate B (Hegemon) made it. Act III will be continued in 2 weeks. The Peacemaker is already in control of 4 clusters. What can go wrong? @leder.games

First time playing the Corvid Conspiracy. First round was a disaster. That what happens if you leave the Eyrie alone for too long. Second round was a blast. Laid a trap which worked great and I was able to do what I pleased.

Always a great day when you end it with board games.

It was a glorious day to battle, provoke outrage and ransack the court to gain a few extra trophies 🤓

Looking forward to play The Blighted Reach this weekend. One day, all three acts. Who will switch fates. Who will leave the empire to become an outlaw?
