During that span:
- .240/.265/.322
- .257 wOBA
- 60 wRC+
On the year his numbers were lackluster as well with a .683 OPS and 93 wRC+. He should not be leading off for any team. Even the Pirates.

On one hand we’re paying for the breakout/career year and he’s in the first year of a big deal
On the other there’s a floor there that’s higher than most/all the SS that go behind him (imo) from this point on with a ceiling that we just saw

I honestly am not sure how I feel. Acuña is a risk but I made sure to give my team a high floor around him
First time taking an early closer with Clase. It’s alright I guess.
In Luke Weaver I trust (for now)

Hitter stack followed by a pitcher stack
Overall this feels like a pretty balanced start.
Now the fun begins with filling in the blanks.

I just hate his splits. Last year his elite production vs LHP made him great to finish the year
For his career he has a sub .700 OPS (.689) and 91wRC+

He addressed it again later in the segment but stated he’s finally back to 100% and what not.

- Siri: 119 games (traded to NYM)
- Arozarena: 5 games (traded to SEA)

- Abrams fell near his max pick in DCs (59th and max is 61st)
- Sasaki fell to me at 89th overall (late round 6). Likely my one and only share because this is the latest I’ve seen him go since announcement of him posting

CJ Abrams fell to me at 59th overall. His max pick is 61 in this format
He was not part of the plan but I was not going to pass on him and how he fits this team great
I think it’s obvious what I’ll be drafting next 😂

It hurt to have to pass on Seager in the 3rd but I needed to diversify and not have Seager on every team
But here we are. About as solid of an offensive base one can ask for to start I guess — assuming Ohtani is ok. I don’t ever doubt him these days.

Candy in at 1B
CES in at DH
N. Marte in at 3B
This is how Noelvi Marte finds his way into a regular spot
Espinosa would shift to the UT role

- .236/.319/.389 (.708 OPS) in 689 PA
- Just 23 HR and 9 SB
- 27% K%
- Bad contact rates
Followed by 3 good months to end 2024 (still sub .800 OPS in those good months)

Round 14 and 15 in my current DC to solidify BA and some decent innings
In draft and hold formats availability has value

I have a hard time projecting Espinal as an everyday guy over CES and Candelario
I’d project Candy and CES as starters personally with Espinal in the UT role
Guess I need to update my damn sheets so I can post my lineups again to my site for comps

I have Austin Wells as my 1st catcher in both my early leagues because I keep waiting on C
Not the worst thing but really prefer him as my C2
It’ll be something I consider in future drafts

- It’s a cut splitter, meaning it can move both armside and gloveside giving it the look of a gyro slider on paper.
- The difference in extension isn’t a change but a matter of NPB switching to more Hawk Eye systems.
