“Harrison Butker misses wide right” will never not be hilarious!

Butker finds himself too far to the right yet again… classic.

I hate how there is an entire genre of podcast that is just dumb, jock white boys googling stuff and saying, “whoa!”

It wouldn’t be that surprising if you had developed any critical thinking skills at some point, just saying.

Ummmm… if all federal dispersement of loans is paused, my payments should be too.

Also, how is this going to impact my community college students relying on Pell grants and federal loans to attend school?

What a mess!

I hope my students don’t discover this one easy trick to get better grades…

Republicans: “We should all listen to our religious leaders.”

Also Republicans: “Not that religious leader, she’s not a real Bishop. Deport her!”

Meanwhile, Bishop Mariann Budd, born in New Jersey, has been a respected deacon and priest for decades.
“I had a feeling that there were people watching what was happening and wondering, Was anyone going to say anything?” Bishop Mariann Budde explained. “Was anyone going to say anything about the turn the country’s taking?”

So, she took a breath, and spoke.

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind… well what about an eye for 100,000 eyes? That seems like a pretty good deal to me. #UnitedHealthcareCEO

I hate to break it to you… those of us who grew up poor and have lived our entire adult lives waiting for the next paycheck already knew this.
Why do so many Americans live in poverty? Because so many rich people benefit from it, the sociologist Matthew Desmond told Annie Lowrey last year. theatln.tc/oc1NTW54

#GNX is a welcome, and increasingly rare, shared cultural experience. I have two group chats dissecting lyrics and pulling references and I haven’t felt this kind of text-based shared excitement since AIM!

I see this happening at my own institution and it saddens me that some of my students won’t even have the option to discover new avenues of thought. College should not be trade school.

I’m not that clever or funny, despite my half-hearted efforts. So, you might want to follow someone else to get your #Bluesky journey started.

Dear Admin,
Student writing is in a bad place and you don’t seem to care. I need less students or more time. I know what my students need, and it’s definitely not me spending what time I do have on an email request for a list you’ll see at my yearly review anyway.
Sincerely,
Tired
