Escaping the dark reality of the works right now with a great weekend in the Lard Zone at #Cancon2026. Four fun games with great folks and the chance to catch up with lots of friends was brilliant! Lots of inspirational tables and painting across the convention, too.

Hmm perhaps not a full scale invasion but it’s certainly going to keep meddling in Georgia, Scandinavia, Germany, the Baltic states and anywhere else it can. Not to mention its military adventurism in Africa. But I agree that Trump might decide to repeat this elsewhere since he thinks it went well:(

Thanks James! These ones still hold up ok (though the Noldor are really showing their age at this point)…. I have at least a hundred more myself but after painting 40-odd for my friend I don’t think I will be touching them for a while!!

I have struggled with motivation for these guys but glad to finally have finished the first batch of #ridersofrohan for my friend’s big Fords of Isen game of #migardheroicbattles at #cancon2026. A bunch more to do but glad to get these done and that my friend is doing most of the horses himself!
