#730report - it’s time to get rid of for profit providers in #childcare and #agedcare - the constant monitoring for compliance by for profit providers is a burden both tax payers and the users of these service can do without. I want to see these vital service run for their users alone.

#730abc what a load of rubbish #ChristopherPyne, I’m disappointed in you subscribing to the supply myth. In much of Australia it’s #Airbnb and using negative gearing to avoid #tax, thats gobbled up #housing - especially regionally.

Yes, yes, yes! Please #ALP it’s time to limit the #negativegearing and #capitalgains tax avoidance rort! Started in the 1930’s, as a short term incentive to encourage housing investment - it’s time to end this inter-generational inequality.

Yes, higher #debt = more money spent on servicing that debt AND, BUT! Over time #inflation will continue to reduce the debt as a percentage of revenue. Meanwhile, Victoria has #invested more than most on #infrastructure and people in Vic are earning more too - all good news for Victorians. #auspol

Water is dangerous, so we teach our kids to swim and we patrol beaches and fence pools. We don't ban swimming, then throw them in the water at 16.
Teach kids to use social media. Put in place laws to force safer algorithms. Make social media companies reduce harms. Introduce more data privacy.
