I've seen some more Nintendo news recently that really makes me happy that I have zero interest in owning a Switch 2.
It'll be a glorious day when someone finally cracks it. Maybe then I'll have renewed interest. But the way N behaves is just deplorable.

I'm watching some TNG episode and it got me thinking. The phaser, to me, has always been such a terrifying weapon. It's ability to just make someone vanish. Completely atomized. Nothing left. They just stop existing. And anyone looking for them will never find a trace, wondering what happened.

I had a weird dream last night. I have a head lamp that I wear when I take my dogs out at night. In the dream, I was walking around a neighborhood at night while wearing it. As I rounded a corner, a very large person (~10 feet tall, but odd proportions) came up to me and demanded my "body cam." -->

I saw a post once (probably on reddit) asking what people thought was the biggest scam in fitness. Someone replied "jump ropes" and that has stuck with me. Because you literally don't need them to do what you do with them!
Every time I see someone use one (IRL, movies, etc) I remember that post...

I've never really griped about touchscreens on things. (Except cars. That shit should be banned outright. Tactile controls ONLY!) But a lot of these... "Designers" think touchscreens automatically work like they do in Star Trek. Just stop already! They don't and you're bad for thinking they do!

I'm curious about people's YouTube favorites. I will almost always skip through ad reads because, well, I hate ad segments. But there are a few creators that I will actually watch the ads for. Like, they turn the ad reads into funny sketches that are actually entertaining. Anyone else?

I've been having trouble sleeping the past couple nights, so I skipped taking my pill this morning. Going to see if that resets that problem. If so, then I'll need to try something else.
I can tell the difference. Everything feels normal now and I'm getting distracted again. Especially by my phone.

So the (late) mid-day report. I don't feel I've been "focusing" better exactly, but I am able to block out distractions easier. (I wasn't spending hours doomscrolling on my phone, for instance.) But the drowsiness did prove harsher than I expected and ended up needing to take a nap. -->

So I took my first dose this morning. I'm not expecting massive behavior changes immediately, but the side effects on the bottle seem to be true. Drowsiness? Check. Dizziness? Check.
Looked online for the full list. Urinary problems? Well, that might explain why I feel like I need to go but don't.

Does anyone have any experience with atomoxetine? I asked my doctor on my last visit if he could recommend someone to see about my short attention span and general lack of focus. He said he could prescribe me something himself and that's what he gave me.

I went to the cardiologist today. Turns out, I DO have a heart!
Oh, and everything is fine. The chest pains i feel randomly are likely nerve related, not heart.
