I am reliably informed that Donn Clendenon hit home runs in Games 4 and 5 of the 1969 World Series... so I was wrong about Wayne Garrett becoming the first #Mets player to hit HRs in back-to-back World Series games. Thanks to @therick112.bsky.social for the correction!
