I think the hardest pill to have to swallow is that while change is possible, and encouraged, and enlightening, most people never do...at least until they become grandparents. The amount of times we can hear, "IDK who that person is, bc my parent would never x/y/z when I was a kid."

Seeing all 4 seasons of The Good Place at least once should be an educational requirement. I said what I said.

You may love or hate cheese. You cannot ban someone else from eating it or force someone else to partake of it. We can sit at the same table with our own plates and our own tastes. That's the thing - you've got your plate; I've got mine. Mind your own cheese and try to be kind.

Coexistence does not require that we share the same mind but does require the same heart.
