You can recognize that violence is bad (and, yes, you DO need to say this in the US) without praising a racist, sexist, transphobic piece of shit who made the world that killed him. Fuck Charlie Kirk forever, and everything he stood for. Hope his family and the traumatized Utah students are ok.
