Work is not done, but the fact that an openly Muslim socialist can become mayor of the biggest city (by population) in the US and one of the biggest in the world is really encouraging.

I realize that with how limited time is that I'm being more judicious about how I spend it and who I spend it with.
Energy is almost as precious as time in that respect. Can I write 500 words today? Do I play games for an hour? Do I take my son to the park?
Better to make the choices consciously.
