Why bat Buxton first and guarantee solo homers instead of the possibility of a 2 or 3 run home run??

Why is the Twins leading homerun hitter batting leadoff? Happened again yesterday: Buxton hits 2 homers and has 2 RBI for the game. Happened last week also. If he’s hitting third or fourth in the lineup, he might have a runner or 2 on base. Then he’d have 3 or 4 RBI to show for his 2 HR.

Careful what you wish for. My rants go all the way back to the designated hitter rule, which is not nearly the abomination that the extra inning ghost runner is.
