Maybe Luke Keaschall will turn out to be the next Bob Hazle instead (minus the World Series ring). The youngsters will have to look that one up, but you won't.

Was it a $200 million upgrade?

Getting rid of Correa while retaining a substantial chunk of his salary is a stark admission that Falvey made a terrible decision with the signing. He should follow the players out the door, and take Rocco with him.

He kills someone and they have to disclose that he’s a left handed pitcher. Weird.

Looks to me like the MLB All Star game is being produced by Vince McMahon.

Why?

Why bat Buxton first and guarantee solo homers instead of the possibility of a 2 or 3 run home run??
June 23, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Why is the Twins leading homerun hitter batting leadoff? Happened again yesterday: Buxton hits 2 homers and has 2 RBI for the game. Happened last week also. If he’s hitting third or fourth in the lineup, he might have a runner or 2 on base. Then he’d have 3 or 4 RBI to show for his 2 HR.

Careful what you wish for. My rants go all the way back to the designated hitter rule, which is not nearly the abomination that the extra inning ghost runner is.

Glad you finally exited X. I did the same on the day Musk closed on the deal and haven’t regretted it for one second. Looking forward to your rants. I’m an old guy one year your junior, and I can rant with the best of them, especially on the subject of baseball, but I’ll not do it here.

Luxembourg Gardens today. With what’s going on in science in the USA I think Lady Liberty has a tear in her eye.

35th annual Dr. Martin Luther King breakfast in Minneapolis Minnesota, attended by 2200+ people on a frigid Monday morning to hear the great Michele Norris share her perspective on racial issues. Thanks to my good friend Lloyd Campbell for inviting Ellen and me to this inspiring event.
