In theory it all ready is cross platform. Though there are more complete (and efficient) emulators to choose from. There's still a sizeable amount of work to go.

In it's current form it's more of a proof of concept, exploring my understanding of the system.

It's been fun getting all the parts working. This still a ways to go.

Getting really close to having the first half of the boot screen on the PS1 working. A few minor glitches still remain on the "tm" text. 😁

Dithering support added to the software raster now. Ended up writing a Sixel terminal display, so now I can see the sequence of draws.

It's almost like getting a strip of pictures from a photo booth.

But basically all of today’s work with rainbows and polygons was to get to this. A stand-alone/external PS1 software raster that loads the saved GPU stream from a dump.

It a little easier to focus on just the GPU rendering now.

Wrote a quick and dirty `.obj` loader for the Utah teapot (1975 ed. - 216 faces).

And away it goes. 🍵 I was really expecting a few more issue with my DIY terminal software raster. 🧙‍♀️

That was deceptively easy to take the 2D triangle software raster and turn it into rotating cube. (note: no backface culling).
Might be time to break out the Utah teapot?

I do love growing chilli plants. I only wish I had more space to grow them.

When the #hydroponics turns out right, I get these wonderful luscious leaves without any (apparent) issue.

The balance of hydroponic nutrients makes a big difference in the quality of the plant. It's always wonderful seeing leaves the size of my hand. Means I did something right for a sec.
