@gavinverhey.bsky.social Streaming now, chat came up asking about Expropriate not being GC anymore. IDK if you mentioned it in your article but one thing I realized is that extra-turn cards are less good if you get them too early. Cheating Expropriate isn't always better than hard casting. Opinion?

I'm watching an @mtggoldfish.com video and just realized how commonly in larger formats we start with ETBT lands. I remember Modern being a format that was always fetch-into-shocks, but surveil duals seem to have changed that. Even Triomes didn't do that. Maybe ETBT isn't as bad as people think?
