27. I drive pretend race cars in circles. Front Line Assembly enjoyer.
Pinned
I do pretend race cars. Mostly in circles, but sometimes on the squiggly tracks too.

I also play "normal" racing games and occasionally stream.

Happy to report that the "HOW'S MY DRIVING?" sticker on the back of my truck was likely put to good use on my drive home. Somebody in a Chevy Volt got their feelings hurt and followed me with their high beams on after pulling off onto the shoulder to let me by.

This might be an unpopular statement, but I really like Mafia III. It may be my favorite game of the franchise. The setting, music and cars do it for me. Even though the cars aren't real licensed brands and models, you can clearly tell what the inspirations were and I love that.

I want to try Super Tourers on RaceRoom, but the servers don't seem willing to cooperate.

I've realized I will not be able to do Daytona for WNiS and I may not be able to run next week either. I will be hunting deer instead.

Fuel pressure regulator on the Cavalier is going bad. It's pushing fuel through the vacuum line into the intake which was giving a nice little bump in power, but I know running that rich isn't good for it in the long term. Looks like a cheap and easy fix.

If only it could stay 32F all winter. I can watch the snow fall, smoke a (NOT) doobie in just a hoodie and jeans and not freeze to death. It's nice like this.

Ordered a diesel heater for the garage as I've realized stretching and gluing the Charger's headliner is going to be impossible at 32F.

As a chance of snow is forecasted this weekend, I'd like to remind my fellow Americans that 4WD doesn't help you stop. Every winter, at least one 4x4 truck will overtake me in a snow storm and I always see them in the ditch a few miles later.

Happy to report that the new motor mounts have completely dampened the Cavalier's engine vibration. The dashboard used to rattle like crazy if you put the car in gear after a cold start. Totally a night and day difference. $60 well spent.

In other news, I did an oil change on the Cavalier and replaced the motor mounts while I was at it. No more clunking sound from under the hood when I do a burnout. 10/10

1995 Honda Civic Si Coupe. $17,000. Description includes the word "rare."

It's all so tiresome.

I complain because I'm a fan. I will shout my complaints from the top of mount Everest, but I still love stock car racing, so I will at least watch in hopes my favorite driver wins a race.
