27. I drive pretend race cars in circles. Front Line Assembly enjoyer.
Pinned
I do pretend race cars. Mostly in circles, but sometimes on the squiggly tracks too.

I also play "normal" racing games and occasionally stream.

Hi, if I overtake you because you're clearly on your phone and unable to maintain speed or your lane, please post the video of me you're clearly filming with your phone along with my plate number. I'd love to find your post and roast you for it.

Tiny bit of progress made on the Charger. Mainly continued the hunt for the pieces and screws I need. Cleaned up the driver's side and fitted some chrome trim.

For some reason, I feel the need to revisit Bobcat Goldthwait's Operation 51st State bit.

The pre-built PC I bought versus what it'd cost me to build it myself with the same parts.

I got it on sale, but even at regular price of $1,799, the pre-built is still the way to go.

In other news, I started my Tacoma this morning to low oil pressure and engine knocking, so a mixed start to my 2026. 🥴

I had a dream last night that I was late to work, but it was the packaging job from My Winter Car. God help me.

I might go live with more MWC tonight, but that depends on whether or not I get rules posted so I have a written reason to ban first time chatters for trying to sell their overlays to me.

My favorite feature of this game is the project car's vin number is unique to each save file and there's loads of different options your car will come with.

Here's mine. The vinplate tells me my car is a '73 in LX trim. No special options. Orange with red interior (🤢)

It's nice when the brake pedal is effectively the handbrake and locks the rear wheels first.

I like how the discussions page for My Winter Car is full of people outing themselves as ignorant of how cars function in cold climates.

"Game broken. Choke doesn't work properly. Car no start."

No, Timmy, the choke alone is not enough to start the car when it's -40C.

10 hours into My Winter Car and here are my thoughts:

It's like My Summer Car, but with more to do and more challenging overall. I really love the new 9-5 job, it's implemented well and feels just as monotonous as a real job. The taxi job looks more interesting, but requires knowledge of the--
