Including this summer, we have now seen 7 episodes of mass coral bleaching on the #GreatBarrierReef since 1998, 5 or them in just the past 8 summers.
Don't let anyone tell you that bleaching is "normal".
It is cause by anthropogenic heating due to greenhouse gas emissions.

Albanese Gov, a government that claims it stands for something, wants to pass a law next week that would allow it to deport people found to be refugees to any country it wants, with no guarantee they will be safe, creating a global detention warehouse & with legal immunity too.

We all need to become eco-populists. That means championing policies that significantly lower daily costs while lowering emissions. Heat Pumps for All, alongside much more robust tenant rights; free and better public transit; price caps on green energy; make polluters pay for the transition.
