This was my first gacha gameplay in God knows how many years. The game models after the actual JRA horse races in Japan (JRA = Japan Racing Assoc., one of the two main horse-racing authorities in Japan, the other being the National Assoc. of Racing/NAR). I have nothing to complain regarding the graphics, and the character-trainer interactions are really cute. Especially Daiwa Scarlet's (the horse I chose throughout my 3-hour playthrough), she's such a brat, I love her. The game makes my laptop spool down after the tutorial while all files haven't been downloaded yet, which is a nice touch. I have no comment about the idol-like songs and the horse-girl concerts (I don't take a liking to idol stuff).
But I am greatly frustrated with the fact that I as the trainer and Daiwa Scarlet as my horse has only one path to go: win the Make Debut race, then the trio of Grade-1 races called the Tiara Cups, then successively more difficult races culminating in Japan's greatest race, the Arima Kinen. Seriously, there are just too many songs in the t*chno etc genres it's difficult. Rather than focusing on difficulty etc, it's best to create music that is so enjoyable you want to keep playing it. Then others too will want to play it over and over.

マジで、音ゲー業界ではT*chnoなどの曲が多すぎて無理。
難易度などに集中せず、「楽しんで自分も繰り返し挑戦したい」的な音楽を作成したほうがいいと思う。こうして他人もあなたの曲を繰り返しやってみたくなるでしょう。

Similar to the crossroads at the end of the new Ba Son bridge between Streets R12 and D6 in Thu Duc City. No crosswalks and the centreline is barricaded (thankfully they used the low type so I could climb over when I went to the Sai Gon River park 2wks ago)
