or play a ttrpg. or a sport. Just go do something with actual people in the real world just for a little bit, please. This nonstop exposure to a constant stream of 26 million consciousnesses is not what the human brain was designed for or is remotely equipped to handle
i am not claiming it would fix everything, but i don’t think it would hurt for every angsty zoomer and millennial and x-er who spends 16 hours a day being Mad Online to pick up an instrument and learn to play it just badly enough to play along with other angsty zoomers and millennials and x-ers

niche opinion maybe but i feel like artists who refer to their works with low engagement numbers as 'flops' are just reinforcing the sad idea of content churning. not being satisfied with how a creative work turned out is one thing. but any art - a result of self-expression - can't possibly 'flop'.
