Despite the time it's been, it's never easy finding the stashed remnants of the little beings you loved for nearly 17 years. I found this today while going through a box. It was his favorite. We had to keep it in the fridge at night or he'd keep us awake fighting it.

Me: Hubby, how would MC replace a busted rear axle in his Jeep Cherokee XJ?
H: but I don't remember if the rear diff has a pin. Yep, like this.
Me: Would you use the same stuff?
H: Yup.

My kids are playing Dutch Oven. Hiding under my daughter's mushroom chair, taking turns farting (I'm still not sure how they can control it for this game but NEVER ELSE).

I have been craving a couple of things lately.
1: a good grilled cheese sandwich
2: a potato chip sandwich.

Yesterday, hubby asked what I wanted, and picked up a small bag of potato chips for me, and 2 loaves of bread, and when he got home, he got a new pack of american from the freezer.

Is it wrong to want to wring a teacher's neck? Long story short, the course final is a group project, due Thursday (end of quarter, end of class), and nothing has been done because my kid's partner has been gone THE WHOLE TIME. What the actual fuck?!

It's FINALLY soup season (it's never not soup season), so of course I made beer cheese soup first! I like a little kick, though, so I swap the usual veg out for jalapenos, red pepper, and onion.

It's been a year and a half since this little boy came home to us. Hubby wanted a grey lap kitty, but Little Boy turned out to be a mama's boy. We found a suitable companion for him and brought home a little sister (one year with us this month!). Sweet Girl is a mama's girl...
